The Flint River: A Georgia Treasure
The Flint River: A Georgia Treasure is the result of partnership between the Golden Triangle RC&D, Georgia Water Planning & Policy Center at Albany State and the Flint Riverkeeper. Beginning in the Fall of 2019, our team captured video from the entire length of the river, from Hartsfield-Jackson Airport all the way to Lake Seminole. This video is just the first in a series that will tell story of Georgia’s amazing Flint River. Footage from the project will be used for a tourism film that can be used to promote this amazing natural resource. Other footage will be used for tourism, educational purposes and community awareness.
