The Center is collaborating with behavioral scientists at the University of Delaware, University of Colorado, and Johns Hopkins University to evaluate incentives for Best Management Practices to explore the effectiveness of technology and incentives to support monthly reporting of agricultural water use by farmers (AgDRIP). Also through CBEAR, the Center supported a project evaluating incentives for feral hog control (HogVISE). The HogVISE project supported the installation of 44 feral hog traps in the Southeastern US and provided data to support the design of cost-share approaches to feral hog control for water protection. These projects were funded by USDA.
